I wholeheartedly believe that the most effective way to address behavioural issues is getting to the root cause of the issue, instead of sticking pretty bows and frills on with your bang average training (no offence). By that, I mean I don’t train your dog to do tricks when they struggle with reacting to other dogs, or giving your nervous dog a conflicting behaviour when they’re visibly uncomfortable. Instead, I take a holistic approach to how I can help both of you with your communication styles and enhance your bond with fun stuff that will benefit you in the real world. Exposure therapy is often used too much - flooding dogs with things they find scary, or not at all - hiding behind cars to manage on your daily walk. By strengthening your relationship, interpreting your dog’s body language, and giving you a new tool box of skills; I can help you understand and get on the right path.
